Beyond Recruitment Ltd provides recruitment and contracting services.  The contracting services are provided on a sub-contract basis or on the basis of Contractors or Consultants being Beyond Recruitment employees. 

Accuracy of information

Ownership

Any Candidate referred and presented by Beyond Recruitment remains a Beyond Recruitment Candidate for a period of 6 (six) months following original presentation or conclusion of a contract assignment.  If the Candidate is hired by the client, or any other organisation to which the client has referred the Candidate or sub-contracted the candidate to, in any position, whether temporary or permanent, within this 6 (six) month period, then the normal Beyond Recruitment Terms of Business and Fees will apply.  All contact with the Candidate is to be channelled through Beyond Recruitment.   

Candidate performance

Beyond Recruitment shall not be responsible or liable for any losses, costs, expenses or damages however incurred (direct, indirect or consequential) arising out of or in connection with the performance or any actions of the Candidate. 

Permanent and Fixed Term Placements

Beyond Recruitment’s fee is calculated as a percentage of the annual salary package, defined as the aggregate of salary, allowances and 50% of the “at risk” component (bonuses or commission) where applicable.  Where a company vehicle is provided as part of the package, $16,000 is added to the base salary before calculation of fees.  Where the base salary is less than 50% of expected earnings, the package is based on 65% of on-target earnings. The following rates apply according to the value of the annual salary package:·

0 to $49,999 = 15%·          

$50,000 to $99,999 = 17%·          

$100,000 plus = 19% 

For Executive Recruitment and other senior level appointments our fee is calculated as 21% of the annual salary package, defined as above. For such retained assignments one quarter of the fee is charged at commencement of the campaign, the second quarter at short listing stage and the remaining 50% upon successful completion of the assignment, within 10 (ten) days of Candidate start date. International project recruitment will be priced by separate proposal. In the case of contingency recruitment the recruitment fee is payable within 10 (ten) days of Candidate start date.  For advertising recruitment the cost for advertising is paid for by the client and is invoiced after the last advert is published and is due within 10 (ten) days. All advertising campaigns will be subject to prior authorisation from the client.  Fees for fixed term placements of less than 6 months duration are based on 75% of the annual salary package (as described above).  If a fixed term appointment is extended beyond 6 months, a further and final fee based on 25% of the starting salary is payable.  If a Beyond Recruitment contractor accepts a permanent position with the client, either during or at the conclusion of their contract or during the six month period following conclusion of the contract, a permanent placement fee is payable.  

Guarantee Period

A three month guarantee is offered for all permanent appointments, providing the invoice is paid within ten working days of the start date.  Should the candidate resign or be forced to resign within the guarantee period because he or she has not performed satisfactorily in the capacity for which they were hired and providing reasonable notice has been given, Beyond Recruitment will be given an exclusive period of three weeks to find a replacement candidate to refill the vacated position at no additional charge.  The only charges payable will be for agreed campaign advertising costs and other disbursements.  If a suitable replacement is not found within a reasonable time scale the original placement fee will be credited to the client account.  If the employer elects not to refill the position then 50% of the fee will be retained for administration costs.

The data from our database is 100% accurate as it represents salaries and rates that candidates and contractors have commenced employment and contracts at. The surveyed data is estimate only. While we believe the data will become increasingly accurate over time as more placements are made we point out that the Monitor is a guide and for interest only. For the avoidance of doubt, career and hiring decisions should not be made on the results of this tool.
