This is a leading NZ interiors contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering to clients over many years. They work with private clients and government organisations delivering major office fits outs, refurbishments and high-end residential renovations.  Job values range between $300K - $8M.

They have a high performing team that is growing quickly due to a reputation for excellent client service and quality of work completed. They enjoy a fast-paced positive workplace culture that is family friendly and down to earth. Due to sustained growth, they now require a QS at the Intermediate level that can manage the commercial elements for a range of high-end fit-out and major renovation projects.

Your role will cover:

  • Measuring and take-offs, pricing
  • Tendering of sub-trades and materials
  • Reviewing of supplier/subcontractor quotes including review of tags
  • Procurement of subcontractor and supplier agreements
  • Cost control, budget monitoring and reporting
  • Progress claims variations and payments
  • Processing, negotiation and agreement of final accounts
  • Liaising with project managers, clients, architects and other key stakeholders
  • Attending site meetings

As an applicant, you have:

  • 5+ years of QS experience gained from an interiors and or residential contractor specialising in high end of the market
  • You have a strong understanding of tendering and pricing projects
  • You are confident in dealing with sub-contractors and negotiating terms
  • You are conversant with NZ3910
  • You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly analytical

Salary $90K - $120K
