Health & Safety

Kia Ora Koutou, Greetings, Talofa Lava, Kia Orana, Mālō e lelei, Ni sa bula vinaka, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Mālō ni!

Health and Safety at Beyond Recruitment is a top priority at the highest level.

One of our Board Directors takes full responsibility for overseeing our Health and Safety policy and strategy. We also have one of our core Beyond values dedicated to doing our very best to keep people safe in the workplace.

We deliver on that commitment by building a safe working environment and workplace for our staff, our temporary workforce, our contractors, our clients and visitors to our premises.

We also partner with Totika and Safe365 to stay up-to-date and current with best practices, compliance and OH&S processes, policies and responsibilities.

In addition, we:

  • Work with our clients to ensure our temporary workforce and our contractors are informed of the Health and Safety policies and procedures on site

  • Run Health and Safety Induction training for all our new employees and subsequent regular inspections

  • Organise annual training for our First Aid teams across the regions

  • Recognise the importance of mental health, and provide training in Mental Health First Aid to all of our leaders through St Johns

  • Support and sponsor Le Va and the Mental Health Foundation

  • Host webinars for our clients and candidates covering topics such as mental health, including this one with mental health advocate Jehan Casinader
