2,500 kilometres. 60 teams. Six days. One Classic Mini.
That’s right – we’re putting the pedal to the metal for the 2019 Pork Pie Charity Run! This Easter, our very own Director, Deidre Rennie, will be setting off on the ultimate road trip with a mission. Stopping at schools from Kaitaia to Invercargill, teams will take their Minis across the length of New Zealand to help Kiwi kids reach their full potential – and, of course, compete for that coveted top position on the fundraising leader board.
The team at Beyond Recruitment is excited to get behind this event and support Deidre and her team mate Hanna (a.k.a. “The Madams of Mayhem”) as they traverse country roads, city streets, mountain passes and South Island straits to reach their destination.
All donations will go directly towards KidsCan’s school programmes, which provide health supplies, food and clothing to children living in hardship. The 2017 edition of this epic journey raised over $200,000 for the cause – and there are hopes to set an all-new record with this year’s event and make an even bigger difference to the lives of young New Zealanders.
