They have a major project with a main contractor client which requires a Commercial Scaffold Lead to manage the contract and liaise with their main contractor client, the PQS and the principal client.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee overall execution of scaffold package
- Manage and Report on TOC Agreement:
- Track and Report Scaffolding Scope
- Coordinate Claims
- Cost Control and tracking financial performance
- Validate Claims with client Cost Control team and the client Site Manager
- Ensure Commercial Compliance and Documentation
- Identify and Manage Commercial Risks:
- Monitor and Control Scaffold Budgets
- Review and Approve Invoices and Payments
- Develop and Maintain Scaffolding Scheduling and Logistics:
- Assist in Contract Negotiations and Amendments:
- Health and Safety
Tertiary qualified
- 6 – 8 + years of QS experience gained in main contractor plus additional scaffolding industry experience is ideal
- Tertiary qualified in quantity surveying
- Pricing and managing mid-large scaffold projects advantageous
- Strong commercial understanding
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A can-do & will-do work attitude with a focus on problem solving and team building
