My client is a not-for-profit Aged care organisation based in the heart of Auckland suburbs and have been in operation for over 100 years.
At the core of this organisation is their residents and their wellbeing and quality of life whilst ensuring they feel at home and welcomed.
An integral part to the smooth running of the facility is the efficiency and standards that are put in place on a daily basis.

About the Role
This role of Clinical Educator is to support the Care Leader by providing a comprehensive clinical education programme that is fit for purpose whilst understanding the current training needs and gaps within the team, then taking measures to remedy. In this role you will have the full support of the Care Leader, Clinical Operations Managers and external Education providers.
Key responsibilities in this role include:

• Developing a comprehensive education programme
• Drives an education culture
• Supports and coached new Registered Nurses.
• Assess currently capability and provides support where appropriate
• Work closely with Care lead and Clinical Operations Managers to achieve tangible outcomes

About you
It is essential you are a Registered nurse with experience from within Aged Care. You understand ownership and always stive to make people the best they can be. You will have experience in an Educator role within the healthcare system and enjoy coaching individuals and being part of a team. It is essential that you have New Zealand experience.
