About the role:
We are on the lookout for a superstar financial accountant who is well accustomed to performing month end close including performing reconciliations, calculating and posting accruals and other journal postings. You will also need to have had some exposure to management accounting as some slicing and dicing of financial information is required to help give financial insights to company Directors. So, someone with a good financial accounting background but also with a commercial mindset. This is a ‘roll up your sleeves’ kind of role so we need someone who is happy with posting journals and getting the accounts in order. Excellent guidance and support is on offer as well as support if you are studying towards / completing your CA/CPA.

Duties:

• Reconciling accounts.
• Posting journals for month end close.
• Assisting with preparing end of year financial reports.
• Assisting with preparing management accounting reports.
• Presenting financial results.
• Business partnering.

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of accounting experience.   
• Commercial mindset.
• Power BI experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting financial information.
• Some experience with budgeting and forecasting.
