This is a national developer building across NZ in key cities and towns in a high growth sector. They have an energetic working environment and are well placed for further growth in the coming years.

They have a significant project that is under construction and is now in need of an Intermediate QS to support a Senior QS.

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Pricing and estimating of build costs
• Budget management across both civil and commercial elements
• Job cost management in liaison with project and development managers
• Tendering evaluation and letting of contracts
• Project administration including sub contractor agreements, progress claim management and variation claims checking
• Back costing, invoicing and supplier and sub contract price checking  

Your background consists of the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
• 5+ years experience of working in Quantity Surveyor capacity on commercial projects in NZ from $10M - $50M
• Strong Financial Reporting and Subcontractor management background
• Clear and effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Strong Procore financial management strengths

This role will offer you the opportunity to work on the development side and have full learning and development support from a talented Senior QS and PM.

Remuneration: $110K -$125K
