Intermediate/Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS

This is a long-standing main contractor that is well known across the North Island. They have developed a reputation as being solid and dependable. They work across a range of commercial build categories of between $10M - $60M. 

Due to future internal movements in the commercial team, they are now looking for either an Intermediate/Senior or Senior QS to join the team. 

As an experienced quantity surveyor


* Managing projects end to end
* Preparation of estimates, tender documentation, supplier agreements and negotiation with sub-contractors
* Preparing detailed budgets and cost plans
* Contract Administration
* Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
* Financial control

As an applicant:


* You have a tertiary degree in Quantity Surveying
* You have at least 8 +years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a NZ commercial main contractor
* Ideally a former trade background would be of interest
* Your IT skills are outstanding
* Experience with tendering and estimating
* You are enthusiastic, organized, confident and enjoy developing, communicating and sharing ideas
