We are looking for an experienced Payroll Consultant to join our client in Auckland, who is a market leader in their industry.  You will be processing payroll for global staff, with the majority in NZ and Australia. You will be a skilled Payroll Consultant managing monthly payroll operations and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll for 100 staff in New Zealand and other overseas staff.  
  • Bookkeeping & Accounting: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the invoice system and maintain up-to-date rates.
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
To be considered, you must have:
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with the Datacom system.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations in New Zealand and Australia.
  • Basic bookkeeping skills, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and overseas payroll regulations.
