About the Role
Established well respected textile house seeks a talented Product Manager to manage a range of Luxury European product ranges for NZ and Australian markets.  Strategic business plans, marketing, sales and operations encompass this exciting role.
Your tasks will also include:
  1. Manage product plan in line with company’s overall strategic business plans and budgets.
  2. Assists with the implementation of new stock items as well as the discontinuation and exit strategy of old stock items for the brand
  3. Responsible for all administration, Monday.com and SAP data maintenance.
  4. Understands current market conditions from both a design and financial perspective, in order to ensure the product mix is appropriate to market demands, so that agreed brand sales targets and margins can be achieved.
  5. Drive the content creation across all marketing platforms, including imagery in line with strategic marketing plans and budgets sampling stylist for the brand.   
  1. Works closely with sales managers to understand key performance drivers and identify gaps in the current l product mix with opportunities for new product.
  2. Supports quality control when required.
  3. Key ambassador for the supply chain, including mills and agents.
  4. Supports the sales, customer service and QC team with technical product queries where required.

About You:
  • To be successful we are seeking a relevant background – you could have come from a similar role working with carpet, high end furniture, home furnishings/textiles.
  • At least 5 years industry (or similar) experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to quickly establish rapport and sound business relationships which reflect positively on brand and business outcomes.
  • Great planning, analytical and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Numerical and general administration skills also required.
