My client is a well-known infrastructure provider across the Auckland region currently working on a significant programme of work that will improve the quality of life for everyday Kiwi’s.

This is a highly complex, multi-faceted piece of work that will involve multiple work streams operating simultaneously. One of these streams of work relies on property acquisition, development and disposal. The Programme Manager’s responsibility is to deliver the property strategy within the estimated budget whilst providing insights and strategies to achieve the objectives. The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all supply chain activities and produce ongoing improvements to the acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities in the role include:
  • Leading the land and property development programme
  • Manage a team of property specialists providing strategy and guidance
  • Develop and document property management strategy.
  • Ensure programme is complaint with RMA and PWA
  • Manage and deliver to financial budget in accordance with the annual plan
You will be an experienced Programme manager with an understanding of infrastructure and the property acquisition complexities around a large-scale project. You may have a programme management qualification such as Prince 2 or PMP etc. It is essential you have previous senior leadership experience is a relevant role.

  • Commercial acumen
  • High level strategic acumen with an understanding of legal implications
  • Experience in working across a large complex organisation
  • Programme and/or Project management experience
  • Calm and resilient under pressure
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
