Christmas is coming early! Our client is a boutique CA firm with a friendly environment.
You will be involved with GST returns, payroll, financial statements as well as tax returns. If you like building rapport with your clients all while working for a tight knit team this role could be for you.
This is a full-time permanent role, in the Wellington CBD.
$70,000-$90,000 depending on experience.
About the role:
- Prepares reports, documentation and correspondence under superior’s supervision.
- Keeps up-to-date with latest accounting developments.
- Consults with superiors on issues identified and researches these.
- Identifies statutory and regulatory changes that will affect own clients.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of broad tax issues and how they impact on their clients.
- Establishes a close working relationship with client; understands the main issues.
About you:
- Experience working in a CA firm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills and experience, including MS office.
- Experience with Zero
- Able to work with a variety of clients
- Can work with little or no supervision
