We are currently seeking an experienced Resource Management Advisor to assist our client in managing their consenting program and offering expert advice on compliance, environmental policy, and resource consenting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and secure resource consents for both new and existing infrastructure projects.
- Drive the development and improvement of resource consenting processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective management of resource consents.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as resource management, environmental planning, engineering, or project management.
- At least 5 years of experience in resource consenting, plan changes, and applying the Resource Management Act (RMA) and related legislation.
- Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing resource consent applications.
- Exceptional relationship management skills, coupled with sound judgment and objectivity.
