Beyond Recruitment is working with a highly respected family-owned business that has been working across Canterbury for 50+ years and built their business on quality of service in a one-stop-shop environment in their areas of expertise. 

In this role you will be a leading a team of up to 17 staff, of which five are direct reports. This is essentially a leadership role that is at the heart of service delivery across a range of services offered.

With a loyal and strong customer base, this is a busy environment and one which has been built successfully around teamwork, pride taken in all jobs completed, and creating longstanding partnerships.

You are going to need to come from a service management background and ideally this will be in a technical space - think engineering, (heavy) automotive, agricultural machinery - a sector that has a strong service and repair focus to it.

The role requires a technical leader whose work philosophy is built around "spoiling" the customer - you will be flexible as demands can change hourly, you will "own" your area of responsibility and have your finger firmly on the pulse at all times. You will be transparent and open by nature, are someone who front foots issues, and is solutions focused. 

Self-motivation, attention to detail, highly organised, resilience, first class communication skills and motivational leadership ability round out the attributes you will need to bring to the table.
