About the Role
The service technician’s role is to support the business and engineering team with servicing and fault management across their returned products. Accepting units, diagnosing faults and taking action to remedy. These units have a combination of hardware and software,
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Troubleshoot and identify issues
- Ensure Engineering team is updated
- Support testing of products
- Ensure timeframes for repair are met and adhered to
- Work as part of a team
It is essential you are a technically minded individual that has worked across product with electrical and mechanical components, ideally in a servicing or repair-based environment. You will be a strong communicator and understand what it means to work as part of a team.
Ideally you will be experienced in the following
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience diagnosing faults and repairing circuit boards etc
- Experience testing products
- Basic technology skills (data entry etc)
