The is a residential and light commercial group that is both a developer and builder managing its own contract arranging their own sub's. They are currently working on building 700m2$ 3M - $4M lifestyle homes plus there is some commercial warehousing in the pipeline.
This is a contract role for 3 months with intent to go permanent should both parties be comfortable with each other
Reporting to the Project Manager, your key accountabilities are:
- Site management of the entire project from planning through completion
- Hands on building when required.
- Monitoring of all processes in order to ensure the highest quality of work is produced, plus ensuring site staff are well mentored
- Site management including sub contractor management, supplier management, H&S
Key background for this role requires:
- 5+ years experience in the multi residential building industry in NZ with a carpentry trade background/LBP
- Experience across high end residential would be preferred
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Strong organisational and time management skills as well as strong problem-solving ability
- Strong understanding of all Council required compliance and documentation
- Health and Safety experienced
Salary: $100K - $120K or negotiated rate
