Key Requirements

• Understanding of the tech industry for junior talent 
• Understanding/relationships of the NZ tertiary or high school education 
• Passion for tech trends and an interest in new ways of working in tech 
• Ability to make complex info simple
• A commitment to care and pastoral support for students 
• Growth mindset, agile mindset and design thinking methodology is a must have 
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills 

Nice to have’s

• Previous teaching experience in industry or at high school preferred. 
• Experience in the tech industry is preferred but not essential -IT helpdesk specialist, software developer, tester, business analyst, data analyst, IT manager, or project manager is preferred but not necessary 

Qualifications

• Relevant information technology-related qualification/ professional certification (ideal)
