  • Christchurch location.

  • $28.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience.

Our client is seeking three people to join their busy team to provide administration support to patients and clinicians.  These temporary assignments will commence as soon as possible and are for 3 months.  You will be able to hit the ground running and have proven administration and customer service skills to add value instantly.

These roles are full time hours, Monday to Friday and offer a competitive hourly rate.  Be part of a close knit and supportive team who take pride in enhancing and facilitating health and wellbeing in their community.

You will be responsible for providing the following tasks and duties:

  • Meet/Greet patients and perform bookings using SI PICS system (prior knowledge of the patient information management system preferred).

  • Update information in booking system ensuring accurate data entry is maintained.

  • Coordinating bookings for inpatients and outpatients, e.g. planning, scheduling and communicating appointments to patients.

  • Liaising with clinicians and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is always maintained.

To be successful in this role the following attributes and competencies must be demonstrated:

  • Proven administrative experience in a health-related field.

  • Excellent customer service skills – a strong people focus.

  • Familiarity with SI PICS patient management system.

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.

  • A professional and proactive approach who can relate to patients in a courteous and helpful manner.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.

  • Can work under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technically savvy, can pick up systems quickly and has a strong knowledge of MS Suite.

  • Team player who is able to meet deadlines and work unsupervised.

  • Highly organised, time management and problem-solving skills.
