With major projects in the pipeline, they are looking for a Quality Manager with a depth of experience overseeing quality aspects across their portfolio of projects.
The role involves:
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols for construction projects.
- Leading and develop the Quality Engineers across the business.
- Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify any deficiencies.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Managing and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, logs, and records.
- Training and educating construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Monitoring the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Ensuring all construction work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinating and document the testing and commissioning of building systems.
- Preparing and presenting quality reports to senior management and clients.
- Tertiary qualified in engineering or construction management
- At least 5- 10 years of experience gained with the commercial construction sector, particularly focused on the quality management of steel structures and concrete
- Strong knowledge of QA Processes and continuous improvements,
- Experience with performing onsite inspections and ensuring adherence to building codes
- Experience in creating and updating Quality Management plans
- Able to drive quality outcomes working across all internal project staff and external stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and systems skills
