To succeed in this role you will:
- Support engagement with kiritaki (clients) to improve access, experience and outcomes, with a focus on kiritaki Māori
- Varied work programme with a mix of strategic communications, marketing and event support
- Apply your Māori communications expertise in this senior role within a high-performing and supportive team.
In addition to the above skills, the following would be an advantage:
- Knowledgeable in Māori culture and values
- Good understanding of te reo Māori me ngā tikanga
- Existing knowledge and experience in Māori focused communications and channels
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of Māori and non-Māori audiences
- Marketing and social media experience would be advantageous as we promote and expand our services across the motu.
