Support critical national operations with your technical expertise!
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support a significant regeneration project within a defence environment. This role is essential in delivering operational services and ensuring the smooth functioning of deployed IT systems for a high-profile national organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily operational support, ensuring systems and services run smoothly and in line with service levels.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal knowledge articles.

Collaborate with a diverse range of personnel, including end-users, technical staff, management, and external vendors.

Communicate technical concepts clearly and simply to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Skills and Experience Required:
-
VMWare Expertise (5+ years) – Experience building and configuring clusters.

Windows Server Proficiency (5+ years) – Including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and networking.

Strong hands-on experience with Dell server hardware.

Ansible Automation skills are highly desirable.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear, straightforward manner.

Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
