This is a national developer building across NZ in key cities and towns in a high growth sector. They have an energetic working environment and are well placed for further growth in the coming years.

They have a complex $80M+ project that is under construction and is now in need of a Senior QS to manage its financial performance. This project has a high level of design change/development and therefore client instruction and site instruction requiring cost control management.

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Pricing and estimating of build costs
• Budget management
• Job cost management in liaison with project manager
• Tendering evaluation and letting of contracts
• Cost forecasting and management, reporting and analysis
• Contractual management and reporting to stakeholders
• Sub-contractor variation management and reporting
• Mentoring and development of Intermediate QS’s

Your background consists of the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
• 10+ years experience of working in Quantity Surveyor capacity on commercial projects in NZ from $50M - $100M
• Strong Financial Reporting
• Fined tuned cost management and analysis ability
• Clear and effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Strong Procore financial management strengths

This role will provide a high level of challenge in a complex and changing project.

Remuneration: $165K -$170K
