The Company:
This Tier 2 main contractor has a long history of success building in the $10M - $40m market. They are on the lookout for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to commercially lead the financial management and delivery of one of several projects between $20M - $30M. They are a contractor with clients experiencing growth, they price smartly in the tender market, they have Directors who are well connected to developers and as a result are continuing to experience confidence in pipeline ahead.
Typically your duties will involve:
- Preparing tenders, project administration, evaluating & costing of variations
- Liaising with sub-contractors & clients
- Financial reporting & cost monitoring / projection
- Preparation, submission and negotiation of Interim and Final accounts
You will need to possess the following to apply:
- A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
- Experience working for a Main Contractor, at least 7 - 8 years ideally in NZ,
- Experience working on commercial projects over $10M in value and have worked across the whole gambit of trades.

Salary: $140K - $155K + veh/veh allowance
