This is an interiors contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering to clients over many years. They work with premier corporate brands and government organisations delivering major office fits outs and refurbishments. Job values range between $2M - $15M. Due to a recently awarded new contract they now require a senior site manager to facilitate and coordinate this project to completion.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for the following:
- Management of site including coordinating trades/sub contractors and material on site, scheduling and delivering projects according to programme
- Attending weekly PCG and sub contractor meetings
- Putting together site-specific safety plans and undertaking inductions, daily pre starts and site checks
- Client and consultants relationship management
- Quality management and any defect rectifications
- Reading plans and ensuring adherence to documentation
- Reporting on issues to PM
To be suitable for this position, you will possess the following:
- Either trade qualified and/or ideally a degree in Construction Management or similar tertiary qualification
- Must have experience held as a site manager with an established interior fit-out and refurbishment company in NZ delivering a number of fit out and refurb projects. It is likely you are well networked and have built strong credibility through the market
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders
- Use of Procore and managing and updating programmes
Remuneration: $145K - $150K for up to 6 months to meet the duration of project term
