This is a commercial contractor that have several projects in the North Island under construction or in the planning. Their Auckland projects are ear marked for commencement in early Q4.
They have significant staged mixed use apartment projects under construction and in the planning which requires a senior site manager with PM skillsets to be on the ground and take responsibility for the successful delivery.
Within this role you will be reporting to the SPM.  Your overall responsibility is to manage the project being responsible for meeting deadlines

As a senior site manager/project manager, you will be:
•            Managing all site activities from start to completion
•            Instructing and managing Trades
•            Managing H&S,RFIs/CIs/CANs/QA/Council inspection /CPU/CCC/Consultants
•            Managing costs in association with the SQS
•            Working closely with the project director to ensure smooth delivery of the project

Your background as a candidate:
•            A trade and/or tertiary background with 10+ years commercial site and project management experience
•            Ideal experience in sub structure, base builds, structural steel and precast trades and must know trade scope
•            High level of planning and organisational skills
•            Must have knowledge of the construction code requirements
•            Must be able to produce a FC programme
•            Track record of liaising closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors
•            Demonstrated excellent team working skills
•            Excellent communication skills
•            Proven track record working as part of a large team in busy work environments
•            Have a good understanding of construction processes and project parameters

In return for your efforts, you will be rewarded with a salary of between $140K - $160K + vehicle/petrol/medical
