Our client is looking to grow the Sales team calling on a range of foodservice companies in the territory. You will be part of a strong sales team and working the territory south of Auckland into the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
The business caters to a range in the foodservice sector including butchery, deli, supermarket and distribution and may other small companies.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Have a background in the foodservice sector with technical knowledge. In your past you may have been a butcher, worked in the deli or food sector space and now understand the sales side and selling and working with the sector
• You understand the products in this sector and have established previous successful sales experience and relationships
• Organised and understand how to drive a territory through an active and focused call cycle programme
• You will be calling on a wide variety of business from small operators through to supermarkets and suppliers.
• You will visit existing customers assessing needs for additional services and pitch for new opportunities.
• Ability to provide sales forecasts for planning
