The opportunity to join a large independent national brand based at Support Office on the North Shore.
The Category/Procurement Manager reports to the HO Procurement. You will be part of a bigger category team working alongside a wide range of areas within support office and out to suppliers and stores.
Key to the success of this role falls into 4 areas; developing relationships with suppliers; driving category leadership to the wider network; key buyer and buying decisions; influencing and leadership.
This is a fantastic opportunity to drive one of the biggest categories in the organisation with the largest supplier group.
Your Previous experience:
- Could be across FMCG, Retail, Building sector or similar
- You are able to negotiate and manage supplier contracts
- You Understand product, price, ranging, buying, merchandising and overall category management.
- Minimum requirements will be 3 years in a Category management role with demonstratable experience in engaging and influencing at a senior level withy operations and executive
Strong communication skills both written and spoken.
