Due to growth and innovation, they are looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join their team in Auckland.
About the role:
In this newly created role, you would be working on key projects that supports the growth of the business and engagement of their customers. Some of these projects are process automation using robotics, business process design and other ongoing projects and system enhancements. This is accomplished by implementing information systems, enhancing operations, and conducting data analysis.
To accomplish this, the role will ensure excellence in every aspect of the systems development lifecycle, including requirements specification, process and UI design for internal systems, testing, training, and ongoing improvement processes. This would require working with multiple stakeholders including, but not limited to internal staff and vendors.
Key day-to-day responsibilities would be:
- Execute business analysis on projects to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they align with organisational goals.
- Analyse business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and propose innovative solutions.
- Develop comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and impact assessments.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management, emphasising key findings and strategic opportunities.
- Oversee the implementation of business solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
- Assess business risks associated with identified requests.
- This role is suited for an intermediate Business Analyst, who can work independently, is a go-getter and focused on delivering solutions.
- Proven experience in Senior Business Analyst roles, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience
- Ability to map processes and create detailed documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
