Reporting into an Operations Manager, and with Project Managers reporting to you they are looking for a Project Director you will take ownership for overall project delivery and performance
Typical Duties:
- Preparing programmes in consultations with PM's
- Forecasting, Budgets, managing costs and providing financial reporting
- Driving the construction programme
- Managing project performance including operation and resource requirements, risk management and reporting of performance
- Adherence to H&S
- Providing technical and contractual support
- Team management and mentoring
- Ensuring all documentation meets contractual, operational and statutory requirements
- Quality management
- Sub contractor, consultant and supplier management
Your background will include:
- 15+ years previous Project Management delivering vertical projects in excess of $50M preferably in the NZ market
- Tertiary and/or trade qualifications
- Strong track record of delivering projects at a high quality and on time
- Strong understanding of construction techniques
- Excellent working knowledge of programming and reading plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive, graft through the challenges and handle a fast-paced working environment
