Job Summary:

Position: IT Support Specialist

Location: Auckland (Hybrid work style)

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Assist with computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Resolve LAN, WAN, and system-related problems.
  • System Maintenance: Install, modify, and repair hardware/software.
  • Security Management: Support information security and patch deployments.
  • Account Management: Lead user account processes and manage backups.
  • Asset Management: Provision, modify, and maintain IT equipment and resources.
  • Customer Service: Provide support via phone, email, or in person.
  • Documentation: Create training materials and diagnostic programs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft OS, cloud technologies, Linux, hypervisors, and storage solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage incidents effectively.
  • Security: Understanding of information security principles.
  • Passion: Enthusiasm for technology and willingness to learn and improve.
