Our client is looking for a Security Assurance Analyst to take on a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks across the organisation, and maintaining a robust cybersecurity posture.

Some of the key and essential requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on Certification and Accreditation programs.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NZISM, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar.
• Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, compliance audits, and security evaluations.
• Ability to analyse key business requirements and formulate and deliver appropriate solutions around set timeframes and dependencies.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, as well as familiarity with network architecture, firewalls, and encryption methods.
• Relevant experience in incident management, including detection, early response, investigation, mitigation and reporting.
• Ability to review processes and suggest efficiency and security gains.
• Experience of writing and developing technical documentation.
