Team Lead – People & Capability

We’d love to hear from our HR Generalist networks who are AVAILABLE NOW to step into a varied, exciting Team Leadership role.  

You’ll lead small and enthusiastic team – 1 Senior Advisor, 2 Advisors, and 2 Coordinators. These a really capable kaimahi, confident in their roles but keen for coaching, development, and guidance where needed.

You’ll have a varied set of responsibilities, including:
  • Partnering – overseeing BAU P&C advice and ER cases (acting as escalation point)
  • PSC networks – this role is the key contact for PSC’s Remuneration network and ER leads.
  • Annual remuneration review – managing Korn Ferry relationship and data, PSA engagement, overall delivery of the rem review process.
  • Bargaining strategy & bargaining
  • PSA – holding the union relationship, PSA meetings etc
  • Oversee the performance review process
  • Leading P&C reporting – including quarterly, annual, Ministers, leave, finance, Board, people metrics, exit data, gender and ethnic pay gap data.
  • Oversee recruitment – including contract management, overseeing day-to-day recruitment activity by Advisors.
  • Payroll – relationship with payroll provider, working on fortnightly pay-run.
  • Oversee review of P&C Policies – one policy currently being reviewed.
