It is essential that this position is up to date with employment and health and safety legislation and can provide outstanding customer service.
You will be responsible for the communication and support of key annual activities for New Zealand. Partner with managers to ensure timely and effective delivery of SHE operational and transactional services, advice and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Management System management
- Maintain reporting systems
- Implement safety strategies
- Monitor quality of incident investigations, root cause analysis & effective corrective actions
- Conduct audits
- Support safety committees
- Provide hands on support to the business
- Develop & implement safety training
- Compliance management
- Process improvement
- Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or experience in a similar role
- Experience in a complex industrial environment
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Experience in driving/coaching safety
- Development and facilitation of hazard management programs
- Development and delivery of safety training
- Ability to provide sound safety advice
- Stakeholder engagement
